Dreaded laundry day

Yes we are in the weekend mode and laundry has come due. Is there no rest for the weary? The laundry is not the only excitement planned for the day. I will also be making preparations for Mel to get underway in the morning. You know, the usual, removing the flag light and weather station, then there is the sewer and water hose and don't forget securing the slides. Inside the computer desk and office chair need to be battened down and in the morning we yank the power cord and off we go. Yep, tomorrow is the day we head to the outpatient clinic to have the oil plug removed and then reinserted at the proper angle. This will be followed up with a complete injection of new oil and we will be road worthy again. While out I also anticipate a stop at Walmart for an infusion of supplies for the larder. All this I expect will leave an echo in my billfold, but it's all just a part of enjoying the good life.

  1. Well, at least you're keeping it clean, John. Busy, busy, busy never hurt anyone...just look at Paul & Marsha and how healthy and fit they are! And you, too!!

  2. Like I mentioned before...guess we are on the same laundry schedule. With the exception that you are doing yours today and I may procrastinate for a few more days :(

  3. Too bad about having to do laundry. I tried to do mine yesterday, but the washer wouldn't let any water in. Does that mean that my clothes are clean anyway?? Thought I'd ask an expert on laundry... ;)

    1. If you're looking for an expert I would direct your attention elsewhere. Mostly because I don't have a clue.

  4. Good luck on the oil pan repair. There are oversized drain plug repair kits available at most auto parts stores in case the repair gets ugly.

    1. This shop comes highly recommended and they tell me this guy knows his stuff. With me on the scene that will make one of us.
