Success

Mel's trip to the doctor this morning was a success, better than expected. The plug was the only thing fouled up. The threads in the oil pan were fine, so for the cost of an oil change and and a new plug Mel has been pronounced well. While we were at it Mel had all joints lubed, I sure wish that was available for me some days. One repair down and one to go. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the awning fabric to arrive to get the slide toppers finished.

After the work was finished I swung by Walmart and emptied what remained in my billfold so I will be able to eat for the next few days and if anyone has a few moths that they need stored I have room available.

With all the activity this morning I think this afternoon will be devoted to nothing, that seems to be a good plan. Just another way to enjoy the good life.

  1. You could always wander over to the Apache Kid Wilderness and bag a peak or two.

    1. Never much money in the wallet, but I've still got the plastic people fooled.

  4. Good to hear Mel is doing well. My moths the ones left alive have flown the coop, maybe they will show up at your wallet.

  5. Hi, it has been fun reading your daily entries. We are home now. There is snow on the ground here and many of our trees have been damaged by an ice storm a couple weeks ago. Many branches to pick up and limbs to trim but we are waiting for warmer weather. Glad things seem to be going ok for you. Just wanted to say hi and glad you are enjoying the good life.
