I am now at my new location of Flandreau, South Dakota at the Royal River Casino/Hotel and RV Park. This puts me 32 miles from Madison and might qualify as my temporary address for the purpose of getting a drivers license renewal. The RV park is nothing more than an asphalt parking lot with electric hook ups, but at $10.00 per night whose complaining? It might get a lot more pricey if I decide to head into the casino later on, but for now will power is on in full force. Besides There is a Cardinal game on right now to keep me occupied.
Tomorrows plan will be to drive on into Madison and see what mail there is for me and then for the first time in 5 years I am not going to sleep on board Mel. When I first came to Madison 5 years ago I stayed in a local Super 8 Motel and every thing went without a hitch. Just for the fun of it I decided to recreate the process. Besides a soak in a tub will be something to be savored after 5 years. Tub soaking is not mandatory to enjoying the good life, but it won't hurt either.
Oh boy, just like the olden days, a bath every five years whether you need it or not ;-) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteA chance to remove the corn from behind the ears.
DeleteFirst bath in five years? Boy, that's gonna' leave quite a ring around the tub... :c)
ReplyDeleteI try to get a bath every 5 years, whether I need it or not.
DeleteI think a good soaking is good thing and a guy needs it about every 5 years. Go enjoy it but no pictures please!!
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting after this that I will make lots of new friends who were unable to approach me before.
DeleteI love the tub! Can't wait to get back to my dad's and take a nice long soak!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new stomping grounds.
Looking forward to a nice long soak.
DeleteDarn, I cannot think of any snappy lines that would work for Flandreau. Hopefully, the food is good at the casino. A soak in the tub is always good, no matter what. Just don't get all wrinkly!
ReplyDeleteToo late, I'm at the age where I'm wrinkly before I step into the tub.
DeleteEnjoy your soak.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it and if I like it I might do it again in another 5 years.
DeleteThat is probably the only thing I am going to miss about our house, the 80 gallon whirlpool tub!
ReplyDeleteOur rig does have a bathtub, but it's kinda on the small side. I can soak in it either legs out straight and I sit up, or lay down and relax with legs bent up. Either way, it's a far cry from a whirlpool spa! LOL
I think once a year we should check into a hotel with a nice whirlpool tub in the room, just to treat ourselves?

I think they do make portable whirlpools, but someone might complain about water usage.
