What's on tap

Today's activity will be directed at watching the Cardinals try to salvage a win in the last game of a three game series with our arch enemies the Cubs. Yesterdays game was especially frustrating when it was shown on replay that the umpires blew two calls that accounted for two Cubs runs that decided the game.

We are also anticipating another UPS shipment today so we will just have to wait and see what the man brings.

This morning we have dealing with wind blowing through the area. It is windy enough that all tennis ball stacking activities have been postponed. Work does continue on awning rebuilds though and it's kind of interesting to watch a fellow on a ladder with a ten foot piece of aluminium trying to work it in position in the breeze. So far no one has been launched.

The ballgame starts in a few minutes so it's time to fire up the TV for the pregame, all of which is part of enjoying the good life.

  2. I'm waiting for the UPS man today, too. It doesn't happen often, but I love getting packages, and this one is my new TV. It will be nice to have one again.

    Hope you team wins! :)

  3. I will be getting a package on Friday! Unfortunately it will be delivered to my home and my nephew (housesitter) instead of me, will have all the excitement of Christmas in April. Oh well, I will have a couple of hours of classic movie entertainment waiting for me when I get home. Enjoy your ball game.

  4. Good luck with the game today!! It is always frustrating when the umpires miss the call. They are human...but it still hurts.
