And on it goes

No change in the weather, 58 degrees and overcast, it's like a broken record. We are still looking for the sun. It looks like tomorrow we are headed for some sun and temperatures in the mid 80's. It will be nice to be able to complain about the heat instead of the cold for awhile.

Daylight savings time
As the wise old Indian Chief explained daylight savings time: "Only the U. S. Government could cut the top off of a blanket and sew it on the bottom and tell you you have a longer blanket". I never have figured out if DST is so good in the summer why it wouldn't be just as good in the winter, but some smart person in Washington has that answer.

I was happy to see Missouri win it's last game in the Big 12 and become the tournament champion. Now on to the NCAA and next year the SEC.

Today we are in Sunday mode with another golf cart rodeo scheduled this afternoon, if it doesn't get rained out. Other than that it's just chill and enjoy the good life.

  1. Ah that is a wise old indian chief! I've never understood it either. It's just a waste! Fortunately, my clock is electronic, so changes the time on it's own. But I think my weather graphic is broken on it. It keeps showing sun behind clouds...it should have been showing rain the past several days! It's 63 here right now. 75 inside the RV. Have a wonderful day!

  2. I'd do a sun dance for you but afraid I would get it wrong and then more rain would come your way. I can screw up anything they say.
