Overnight rain

The rain continued through the night and we had right at an inch of the liquid fall on our around us in the last 24 hours. Temperature continues to be in the 50's. Roger decided this morning that in order to ward off cabin fever, he, Donna and I would head to the flea market to greet the bus that Vickie was bringing from 4 Seasons in Zapata, on a shopping adventure. We made a mandatory stop at the Pancake House on the way and filled our bellies. Then we got to the flea market about 11 and the bus wasn't far behind. Aboard the bus we got to see Annis and Harley, Angelo and Judy,  Pat Mac and John and Pat Z and of course Vickie. A nice visit with the folks was enjoyed and I was again able to escape without the acquisition of any new fleas.  It did put a nice break in the cabin fever saga. Here's some of what I saw this trip.

The rest of the day will be in watching rain drops mode while enjoying the good life.

  1. If that sun would only show its face it would really make enjoying the good life nice.

  2. WE used to have one of those indoor flea markets but for some reason it didn't last. It was nice for rainy days.Maybe thats why it didn't last to long, not enough rainy days.

At least you got to go out and meet up with friends and have a good time.

  3. Rain or not you got to spend some time with dear friends.

I am sure the rains will be very beneficial to all the farmers out your way.
