Standing by

Today we are in standby mode waiting for a new chair to arrive that is reported on the Fed-Ex truck out for delivery. In the meantime I have been busy doing projects. First stop was at Tom's house to let him know he could take the old chair for the park auction. On the way back to my space I stopped briefly at the office and by the time I got home I had been burglarized. Evidence is below.

The next project was the installation of a can crusher to take the air out of the empty cans before taking them to the recycle area. 24 empty cans can fit in a much smaller space when the air is removed.

Ready to swing into action (groan).

Now that this has been accomplished this afternoon can be spent watching for the Fed-Ex man so the 'some assembly required' part of my day can begin. How I enjoy the good life the rest of the day will be determined by 'the some assembly required" phase.

  1. Hope you are all assembled and ready to try out your new chair by evening. Anxious to hear how you like it.

  2. I do to Donna, I'm hoping assembly doesn't require anything but nice words.

  3. My new chair I told you about did require some assembly but they even included the Allen wrench that was required. It took me all of about fifteen minutes, your experience may vary. We await pictures!
