Riviera, Texas

Well the move is complete and Mel is backed toward the bay so we are set for a month. Leaving this morning was bittersweet with good friends out to see me off on my journey. I made a stop at Wal-Mart that helped me unburden myself of any excess money I might have accumulated and I arrived at SeaWind about 1:30. After setting up and a trip to the office to register it is now time to sit back and relax a bit. I did snap a couple of pictures from Mel's location and tomorrow will be a time to explore.

One last memory of 4 Seasons....another sewer break. This one happened about four doors south of me and the wind was blowing from the south. That's the sort of thing that makes an impression.

From the rear of Mel looking out at the bay.

This is the 400' fishing pier that seemed to be getting a good workout today.

Now it's time to have some lunch and to sit back and absorb the view while enjoying the good life.

  1. Welcome to the coast. In fact If I remember the tree correctly, that is the site I wanted when they finished construction on it last October.Keep in mind when you go to Kingsville for groceries, that that is the town that checks for weapons at the door of the bars. If you don't have one they loan you one.
