Wind alert

I have arrived in Zapata and so has the wind a rain. We are currently under a wind alert and it has rained off and on since last night. Between rains I have walked around and said hi to the few that are already here. More should be arriving in the next couple of weeks.

This is my neighbors Jim and Sue's tree. Last year Jim cut it to the ground and did everything to discourage it's growth (can you say 'kill it') and as you can see it's as healthy as ever. Looks like another pruning session is in order.

It's a long way between units on Winter Way right now. JoAnn tells me all but one of these spots is rented for the season, so it won't be longer before all these spots are taken. Let the fun begin.
