Years difference

This morning we are still suffering the effects of the cold front that moved through yesterday. The sun hasn't broken through yet and it's still in the 60's. Today's high is expected to reach 84, but we are going to need the sun to get there. This morning I took a walk down to the boat docks and there has been a big change in the water level since last year. I got a few pictures so you can see the change.

There is a lot more launch ramp out of the water.

Last year the water was almost to the yellow pipe in the lower right of the picture. The golf cart would have been under water where it sits.

Boat were traveling over this berm and fishing in the cove to the left. Not going to happen this year.

The docks have been pushed out to the lake and the birds are still waiting for the fish to be brought to them.

The pole that was under water last year has reappeared and if you look on the far bank you can see where last years water level was. The crest last year was at 304 feet and right now the lake is at 288 feet. This is measured at the dam which is a ways down stream from here.
