All the activity this morning was down by the lake. First Gary called and said they were bringing in a big one, so Sal and I went down to the dock to see.
Gary's 8.0 pound bass.
Then Brian got a call from Texas Fish and Game saying that they were returning his fish to him for release. The final official weight was 14.43 pounds and in captivity it had grown to 16 pounds. Brian was reunited with his fish, a few pictures were taken and it was set free to help populate Falcon Lake with some really big ones.
Brian giving his big fish a goodbye kiss (not really) right before release.
While all this fish activity was going on a large crowd gathered to see what might be available to eat.
If you were a fisherman in Zapata today you were really enjoying the good life.
What great pictures, what great fish, Life is good in Zapata. By the way, according to your Map, Mel has not been very far west or even up the west coast the same thing for the east coast. Is that just Mel that hasn't been there, or haven't you been there either. Lina
