The day started out with bright sunshine, but the wind picked up from the south and blew in a ton of overcast. The forecast is saying we aren't going to get much improvement through the rest of the day.
I did make it to the laundry room this morning and accomplished a couple of loads of laundry before the place got too busy. There was another couple doing laundry who had just arrived yesterday from Effingham, Illinois. When they left home it was -6 degrees and they were more than happy with the temperatures in Zapata. We had a nice visit while waiting for the dryers to tumble.
Today is Super Bowl Sunday, so a full slate of sports in on the schedule for the rest of the day. Being inside with lots of sports on TV is just another way to enjoy the good life.
