What's next

Yesterday I spent some time reading my new book and figuring out my next move. This is such a nice park I will stay a few more days and then I will start my journey in the direction of the Grand Canyon where I will meet my four sisters and their husbands toward the end of August. We will be riding the Grand Canyon Railway to the canyon which will be a repeat of the ride I took three years ago. It was Grand. Then it will be time to begin my leisurely  trek back to Texas. On the way I've added a couple of trains and museums to check out..

We are in for another hot one today so I'll lay low and probably do some more reading. Also include in today's activity schedule is the Cardinal baseball game in Atlanta. Just another busy day of enjoying the good life.

    1. Believe it or not I just looked and the temperature in Mission is the same as it is here. I don't expect to be back in the valley before mid October.

  3. I'll be leaving SPI around Sept 30 heading toward Austin. I plan on traveling around central TX until the New Year and then I may be heading west. Have fun with the train rides.

  5. We did the GC Railway, too, in the observation car, to boot. It was expensive, even more so when the train got held up by robbers! :cO

    1. I did it 3 years ago, but when my sisters were planning their summer trip together they decided on the Grand Canyon, easy for me to meet them there.
