Got 'er done.

The dastardly laundry has been done for another cycle and I can sit back and enjoy clean clothes for a couple of weeks. They didn't make it easy though. The park only has three washers and two dryers. That would be workable, but one of the dryers is currently non-functional and that creates a bit of a bottleneck. At least the job is done for now.

Today we are socked in with clouds and it has made a 20 degree difference in temperature. I might be able to get through the whole day without kicking on the refrigerated air. Other than that not a lot is happening. I do have an order on the way from Amazon and I'm not sure quite how that works, but there is a big distribution center right here in town, my order will be coming from Ontario California, not exactly efficient, but they still seem to be making money.

Today looks like a good day for a siesta after all that domestic work this morning and then I'll be ready to watch the Cardinals this evening while enjoying the good life.

  1. Is there a Laundromat in town that you could use to get your laundry done faster? I don't mind doing that at all. I bring my Kindle and just relax and keep my eye on my washer and/or dryer. In an hour and a half, three loads are washed, dried, folded and put away. (I don't have a car, so I drive the rig to the Laundromat and put everything away quick.)

    1. I've done that before, but I was first in the laundry here today and didn't realize the second dryer was not working until I went to load it. I'll check on an alternative if they don't get their equipment up and running.

  2. That really does make it the dreaded laundry day. The one nice thing about going home is the washer and dryer waiting for me.

    1. I was even looking in Mel for space for a washer and dryer. Not going to happen.

  4. After an experience at a KOA laundry where there were six washers and six dryers, with only one dryer working and five ladies waiting in front of me, a washer/dryer wash item number one must have on our current MH.

    It makes me smile. :c)

    1. No room in Mel. To be honest, it's usually not a problem. More of a motivational problem for me.
