View from the roadside of the park.
The sites.
A look out the northwest side of the park.
The office.
Right now the park has a few empty spots. This contrasts with the situation in a couple of months when the Amazon Distribution Center gears up for Christmas. During those months the park has a waiting list of about 30 people for the available spots.
The heat has followed me and it is supposed to be 105 today. It seems like wherever I head they get to enjoy triple digit temperatures while I'm there. I noticed yesterday Cortez Colorado was 85 degrees, not the 100+ I enjoyed. Today I am going to work on a plan to see what is worth exploring in the area that will help me enjoy the good life.
I am sitting in drizzling rain and warm temps. It is soooo exciting.
ReplyDeleteI like the blues skies better.
DeleteWOW...that park is beautiful. I see why you have decided to stay a month. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteA month was cheaper than two weeks. $365 + electric. I probably be here just over two weeks.
DeleteCan't beat that price with a stick! Wow, wish there was places like that out here in the East Coast!
ReplyDeleteNot a bad deal. A week was $190. Going a month was kind of a no brainer, even for me.
DeleteI love the clouds in the first picture. Since you're bringing the heat you may get run out of town.
ReplyDeleteI'm not telling anyone in town it's me.
DeleteThat's a nice looking park. Desert Rose has a similar look so I guess Fernley takes good care of its parks. Might be because they both get business from Amazon in the winter. Anyway, enjoy your stay under those bright blue skies.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Amazon is a part of it, filling a park that probably be filled that time of the year.
DeleteNice place. And the clouds reminded me I forgot to down load the ones I took today. Oh well maybe tomorrow. I'm tired thinking about the packing.
ReplyDelete8~(
I was going to say, you had enough on your plate today.
