Kingman Day 4

The day starts off overcast, but rain is not in the forecast. I did not make it to the other museum yesterday, I had forgotten there was an afternoon ballgame...maybe today. Anyway, I still have pictures from the last museum I saw on Monday. This is some of what I saw at the Mohave Museum, which is dedicated to the history and culture of Mohave County. I apologize for the glare of the glass cases, but the lighting in the museum caused this and there was no way to compensate.

Andy Devine, was raised in Kingman and became a favorite son.

Andy's prized saddle.

His buckskin vest.

Tomorrow I'll post the rest of the 53 pictures taken at the Mohave Museum. As for today a walk to the Bonelli House is on the agenda. Just seeing what I can do to enjoy the good life.

  1. Isn't it so cool to visit local museums like that? After our visit, we always feel like we know so much more about the area. Gives us a better appreciation for the struggles that the early settlers had.

  2. Museum or baseball. Hmm, tough choice. Guess we won't be seeing many pictures of that museum ... :cD

    1. A surprising amount of stuff to see here. I also plan to take US 66 from here to Seligman, some pretty interesting stuff to be seen there.
