Gila Bend, AZ

Today we have moved to Gila Bend Arizona for the day. We have settled in for an afternoon Cardinal ball game. Going back the the Butterfield RV park which I left this morning I have a few pictures to share which makes this park standout from others I've stayed in.

Nicely landscaped.

Level, paved sites.

Wide, paved streets.

An observatory with a nightly star show. (weather permitting)

An enclosed dog walk.

A wood working shop and the other building is a ham radio shack.

A putting green.

And a driving cage.

A nice pool

And many,  many flowers.

All this at a Passport America rate of $20.00 per night. Now that's a lot of park for the money.

This afternoons schedule has been cleared for the ball game and then some planning for the next move. Enjoying the good life is part of the plan.

  3. So many PA parks don't quite live up to the description but this one surpasses it. Just wonderful.

  4. My guess is that it's pretty hot in Gila Bend right now. Love the blooming cactus.

  5. That is a great looking park, and to get PA discount is the cream and cherry on top.
