Prep time

Now preparations for the summer travel with Mel. I've made arrangements to get the topsoil removed and the cleaned with The Solution. I need to get new windshield wiper blades because the current ones have come apart in the southern sun.

David showed up this afternoon and we were able to remove the topsoil from Mel so progress is being made in the right direction. The wheel covers have been folded and stowed along with the windshield cover. Now it's time to tidy up the inside, maybe one more load of wash and we should be close to ready to roll.

Making preparations is just another way to enjoy the good life.

  1. I just washed my rig, and I am moving on Monday, too - but I am only going a few blocks - to start my summer job. You will have more exciting stuff to report than I will.

  2. You've got time to relax and enjoy the games now before you head out again. It'll feel good to have those wheel rolling again.

  7. Glad you got all that topsoil off Mel. You don't want to use up all your CCC. :cO

    1. If I'd gathered a bit more the Dept of Agriculture would have regulated me.

  8. Getting that topsoil off is a good idea. So is taking off the windshield cover prior to your trip ;-)
