Prep day

Today many of the folks in the park are involved in preparation for tomorrows big auction. Residents in the park donate items they no longer want (their junk) and other folks bid on stuff they do want (their treasure). In between the money that changes hand ends up in the rec association fund and is used to purchase more fun.

Judging from the number of chairs it looks like quite a crowd is expected.

After a chilly day yesterday today is much better with the current temperature of 86 degrees and a 3 mph breeze it's making it pretty easy to enjoy the good life.

  1. Don't you just love seeing folks exchange junks?!? Hope you get a good chunk of change for the entertainment fund.

  2. You must have sent that cold weather and wind across the Gulf because we froze our backsides off setting up at our new location today. I guess as long as there is no rain with it we'll be able to Enjoy the Good Life! Be Safe!

    It's about time.

  3. What did you donate John. I would love to attend one of these if I had someone to keep me from bidding. Have fun.

  4. That really looks like it's going to be a fun day. You know what they say about someone's junk. You just might find a treasure.
