Showtime

Last nights entertainment, The Roger Kenaston Band provided a really varied show. This group appears regularly on RFD TV on the Midwest Country program and they are directors of the Wahoo Country Music Show in Nebraska, their home state. Roger plays guitar and Dobro and his wife, Sharon, is on bass fiddle. Jerry plays drums, trumpet, flugelhorn, slide trumpet and slide trombone. You can imagine the variety of music that comes from this assortment of instruments.

 Today is jam day in the park and later I have to head back to Wal-mart to see if my prescription is ready yet. I also received mail today and I believe I have all the information needed to complete my taxes. Taxes are not a big concern because nothing from nothing is still nothing. Not having to worry about taxes is an especially nice way to enjoy the good life.

    They sure do put on some good shows there at your place. Lots of fun to be had.

    We are almost done with taxes too...the government giveth and the government taketh away!! (unfortunately more of the latter than the former)

      The government feels the need to help those who don't see the need to take care of themselves. Why can't we list them as dependents?

    I know what you mean about "no taxes." This year, California didn't take ANYTHING from my income - first time.

    I was telling my son-in-law the other day that I'd rather live THIS life, being frugal and loving every day, than working part time and having more money. This is truly the "good life." :)

    You have one good group after another at that park. Who ever the activity director is deserves a big pat on the back.

      We do all of this without an official activity director, but the Association works together to git er done'.

    Good luck with the taxes, even though your income is zero, the IRS has ways of squeezing every last nickle out of you... :cO

    Well, it must be nice to have all these great groups doing their opening acts for your show, John! Keep that up and you will be in Branson yourself in no time. You may not want to do that, though, as it would have a severe impact on your personal taxes. But, as an old boss of mine once said, don't worry about the taxes, just go for the income! (He never was arrested, though...HAHA)
