Today seems to be a lazy day in the park after yesterdays super Sunday. I took a morning tour and didn't find much activity, but all is secure. My job was done.
Tonight we have more entertainment on tap with the Roger Kenaston Band scheduled to appear. Maybe that's why things are moving so slow, everyone is resting up for the big show.
I have to make a trip to Wal-mart this afternoon to retrieve a prescription refill that was out of stock on Friday. They said they would have it in by 2:30 today, we shall see.
Other than that, I too will be joining the slowly moving for the rest of the day. Under exerting is just another way to enjoy the good life.
"Peace and quiet" is good, its what we strive for in retirement.
ReplyDeleteYou bet it is.
DeleteThe park should be thankful they have an eagle eye touring around to make sure all is secure. Not good to have pickeled seasoned citizens lying around on the streets... ;c)
ReplyDeleteIn a 55+ park there are a lot of eagle eyes on the job. Not much escapes our watchdogs.
DeleteSometimes when the activity keeps coming we can hardly wait for those quiet days. Sometimes when the quiet keeps coming we also look forward to the activity days. Looks like you're getting a little bit of both.
ReplyDeleteThere is certainly a fine balance in there somewhere.
DeleteMaybe tomorrow will be my quiet day. We shall see. In the meantime enjoy the entertainment tonight
ReplyDeleteYou probably are ready for a quiet one.
