Same ol

Yep more of the same in the extended streak of undesirable weather. We are still in the 40's and there is no sign of the sun anywhere. The weatherman says maybe a touch of sun tomorrow, but rain on Monday. If we don't dry out soon I'll probably begin to rust on Tuesday.

Today we are in the weekend mode and have some sports entertainment on TV to look forward to. This is a good distraction when being forced to stay inside. Other than that there is nothing to report except as boring as things are we are still enjoying the good life.

  1. That sunshine will be there sooner than later. It's sunny in Arizona and we can hardly wait until it warms up to go along with it!

  2. We are leaving and headed for Mexico on Monday. Paul has a dentist appointment. We hear it never is cold in MX...hehe

    1. I know you read that on the internet...and they can't say anything that isn't true on the internet.

    2. It depends what part of Mexico you are headed to. If you are headed to Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila or Hidalgo it has been snowing.

  3. The sun has been playing hide and seek all morning but at least no rain and not too terribly cold 48 as I type this.

Enjoy watching your games and may your teams win!

    1. I am in south Texas and our high for the day has been 54 degrees. Average for this day in history is 71 degrees and that's what I came for.

  5. There's nothing you can do about the weather. At least I had cold sunny skies for my move off the refuge today. Rain tomorrow, though. :(

    1. I always reserve the right to grumble when the weather isn't to my liking, and you right it has absolutely no effect.

  6. At the rate you're going, you might as well be here in Oregon, John. You're welcome anytime. We'll even leave the heat on for ya!

    2. Well, that's warmer than we keep the house! When I turn the heat up for the grands, I set it for 65! Maybe you don't want to come to Oregon after all right now. Send warm thoughts, at least.
