Overcast

This morning we are faced with warm and humid. It's 80 degrees with 90% humidity, but no rain. This morning Mission had a marathon and I can imagine what those runners must have felt like running in this wet. I'm glad I was smart enough not to sign up, my doctor was too, because he didn't have to get called on a Sunday.

Yesterday the Indiana Hoosiers went down to defeat for the first time this year. It took an overtime for Butler to beat them by two points. It looked like the Hoosiers had spent too much time working on finals and forgot about basketball for the last week. Well now they can start working their way back to #1.

Each day we continue to see arrivals from the north and it won't be long before we have a full house. The activities on the calendar are increasing also, so there  is now something to do every day if a person wants to. No time to get bored.

This afternoon Denver is on the tube so that will occupy me until about three pm. The rest of the afternoon is up for grabs, but I'm sure it will involve enjoying the good life.

  1. Enjoy that afternoon! It's raining here. Was so humid yesterday, so the rains are cooling things down today.

  2. I am watching the Browns right now. We are tied. But we don't look too hot. Good luck with your Denver game.

Rain on its way to Ohio. Yuck.

  4. It's gotten pretty cool in Arizona over the last few days and we don't like it. Thanks for the eyelash tip on Amazon. I looked them up and they were there! However, they come from Hong Kong so wouldn't make it in time for Christmas. Maybe next year.

  5. Is it always humid there? I would not like that at all. Just had some people outside Caroling. I thought I missed it last night while I was out.

We had sun today and it wasn't all that cold. It is warming up until next week anyway.

    1. Being close to the Gulf the humidity stays fairly high. Lots higher that Arizona, but it keeps us a little warmer in the winter.
