Morning

Ever had one of those mornings where you couldn't wait to get your feet on the floor and get the day started with a bounce in your step? Well today wasn't one of those days, Rather today was started by looking out the window at first light and being greeted with a completely overcast sky and judging from the thermometer at the end of my nose my first reaction was to pull the blanket over my head and wait for more favorable conditions. I finally resigned myself to the fact that waiting might take awhile and forced myself to face the day. Above us we have what I call a winter sky, you know the one where there is not even a hint that there ever was a sun. This will cause me to go to the extended weekend plan where I will stare out the window waiting for things to improve. Since this requires very little effort on my part I will also have time to spend on the computer and I will scan the TV menu on the oft chance that there might actually be something worthwhile to watch.

Some days are diamonds, some days are coal, it's all part of the good life.

  2. We had enough ugly skies in Ohio. We don't expect to have them here too! I better see blue skies tomorrow or some one is going to pay!
