After suffering through a chilly, sunless day yesterday things around here are improving. The overnight low was 48 but about nine o'clock this morning the sun broke through and things began to warm. We are at 62 now and still on the way up. Now maybe I'll be able to get out and explore the countryside a bit. There was a deer in the park last evening for supper and the locals tell me this a regular thing. Maybe we can get some good deer pictures.
Another playoff game this afternoon will occupy some time and just enjoying the solitude here in the country is also on the agenda. Just another way of enjoying the good life.
We are suffering a dreary cold, and rainy day here on the Outer Banks. Bah Humbug!
ReplyDeleteIt's finally improving here and I'll forward it on to you.
DeleteIt is amazing how cold and dreary weather makes it hard to Enjoy the Good Life!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
Very true, this is the first nice day since I arrived on Friday.
DeleteA deer for supper? You gonna eat the deer or is it gonna eat you?
ReplyDeleteWe shared supper. She ate hers and I ate mine.
DeletePLEASE send that warm weather out way...PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteReally I am working on it.
DeleteStill sunny and warm here in Oregon (during the day!) but that is about to change over the weekend. The rain will move in and then we will be looking at gray skies until next July. Okay, maybe not that bad, but close.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I remember of the Great Northwest I don't think that's much of an exageration, but that just helps you appreciate the sunny days more.
DeleteThe weather here is about the same until Thur. then it will be really nasty. Heading down the mountain Wed.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to take pictures of the deer.
Sounds like you heading donw the hill with perfect timing.
DeleteBambi didn't show tonight.
