Improving weather

After suffering through a chilly, sunless day yesterday things around here are improving. The overnight low was 48 but about nine o'clock this morning the sun broke through and things began to warm. We are at 62 now and still on the way up. Now maybe I'll be able to get out and explore the countryside a bit. There was a deer in the park last evening for supper and the locals tell me this a regular thing. Maybe we can get some good deer pictures.

Another playoff game this afternoon will occupy some time and just enjoying the solitude here in the country is also on the agenda. Just another way of enjoying the good life.

  3. A deer for supper? You gonna eat the deer or is it gonna eat you?

  4. Still sunny and warm here in Oregon (during the day!) but that is about to change over the weekend. The rain will move in and then we will be looking at gray skies until next July. Okay, maybe not that bad, but close.

    1. From what I remember of the Great Northwest I don't think that's much of an exageration, but that just helps you appreciate the sunny days more.
