A view around Hilltop

Hiilltop RV park sits at the west end of Fort Stockton Texas right on I-10 and if you are ever in the area this is the place to stay. I took a walk around this morning and here is some of what I saw.

An attempt to grow rusty wildlife.

Could be the water supply.

Fixins available

More rusty stuff.

A nice conversation pit.

The office.

A rusty band to entertain you.

The pool and patio area.

A nice mural to welcome you.

A rusty watchman.

And his assistant.

Across the highway the Chamber of Commerce has erected a welcome sign entitled 'Indian Scouts'. Hilltop RV Park claims it as their own.

Another look at the office and conversation pit.

Looking west on I-10

And across the highway to the Glass mountains.

You can see why one might enjoy this park and if it wasn't for the west Texas wind it would be perfect. Anyway it's on to the laundry room to produce some clean clothes so I can on with enjoying the good life.

  1. At this time of year there is probably less vacationing traffic on I-10 which would reduce the noise. That and the beautiful scenery would definitely be a way of Enjoying the Good Life. Be Safe.

    It's about time.

    1. The park is located far enough above I-10 that noise isn't a factor.

  2. You should have included the Roadrunner, or is it still there in town?
