Storm clouds

Chip and the crew dropped by last evening and removed a piece of trim from Mel, something about paint matching. He said he is expecting the furnace to arrive today and might be installing it this afternoon. Progress one step at a time.

This mornings problem solving session with Clay was interrupted by by a rain that was so heavy it almost dampened the rain gauge. Problem solving was quickly abandoned for fear of the melting syndrome. None of which came to pass.

Looking up at the sky it appears we will spend the day under a threat of rain, but usually around here that threat is an idle one. I'm sure the major effect will be to raise the humidity enough to make the 90 degree temperature just that much more pleasant. I guess that just has to be accepted as part of enjoying the good life.

  1. Humidity HIGH here in Ohio. Storm clouds on the rise. Hope it just rains and gets it over with. I have some outdoor living I need to do.

  2. There is a big storm dropping through Michigan tonight that supposed to water the plants around the building before crossing Lake Erie and heading for Ohio bringing cooler temps with it. It should be done by sun up so we Paul and Marsha will still have all day tomorrow to Enjoy the Good Life.

    It's about time.

    1. We had just enough rain this morning to water the cactus and sagebrush. Glad they have a low water requirement.

  4. We have had a few storms that past through the night. Woke up to find the screen door off and some big tree branches blown all over the place. We have been getting lower humidity here :). Rather have them at night cause I don't hear a thing. That DOES also make it better for a good life!!

I hope you get more during the night. And can't wait to here if they installed your heater.

  7. May the gentle rain flush the dust from your rain gauge and may your leaks always be small ones. Old Irish Blessing (NOT)!!

  8. I just today found out that Wednesday was National Relaxation Day. Here I wasted a day doing nothing and didn't even know that's what I was suppose to be doing. I'm going to mark that on my calendar for next year so I won't miss it...you might want to do the same so you don't overwork!!!
