50 years in coming.

Tonight is the big night, after a 50 year wait we are now allowed to have a 50 year reunion, you know it's not allowed in the first 49 years after graduation. I went to a small Catholic school and graduated with a class of 31 other students, so I've always been able to say I graduated in the top 31 of my class. At the time we were the smallest school in the state of Missouri playing 11 man football and school pride was a part of each of us. Because of the size of the school I was able to play football, basketball and run track, The school closed in 1967 and since that time the alumni pool has been dwindling. Our group of 31 has had four members pass away and to give you and idea of how close we were and still are we expect 23 of those classmates to attend the reunion tonight with the most traveled coming from Norway. The anticipation grows, let the fun begin.

I will be spending the rest of the day with the doors open and the welcome mat out, welcoming anyone who happens to drop by my premier camping space overlooking the local Wal-mart. Tonight will be full on enjoying the good life.

  1. Enjoy the reunion. It will be a great place to enjoy your good life. Don't throw your back out tossing around all those "tall tales".

  4. Why don't you all try to act like you did 50 years ago? But maybe not...I don't want you to report how many bones were broken, how many can't get out of bed the next day, how many are sick...you get the pictures.

    Just have a wonderful time!
