Weekend mode.

This morning began with a walk through the countryside and the some time visiting with my neighbor and some of his family. More of the family is on the way in and tonight there will be a memorial service for Sharon and afterwards a carry in to celebrate her life and a life well lived it was.

This morning I have also been working on my water system. A lot of what I'm doing is just regular maintenance, like soaking the pressure regulator in CLR to remove the calcium that has accumulated over the year. I will also change filters because if I don't the water will slow to a trickle. That is not a good thing when taking a shower.

Some of the views I'm forced to look at during the morning walk.

Time to sit back and enjoy the good life.

  1. I know how tough it is putting up with the views out there. However I also know you are plenty man enough to handle the job easily. After all the work looking at the mountains, I think a nap will be in order. Have fun.

    1. Everything is working properly, but I haven't needed the AC around here. Temperature is in the 70's, humidity is 36%.

  5. Some people are stuck in an office, looking out a brick wall, a highway, or a railroad yard. Gosh... you are so lucky! Can't wait to join your ranks and have your view!
