Electronics mltdown

Yesterday afternoon we had a brief power outage and when the juice was restored the two items I have on board with touch screens are no longer working like they should. Neither touch screen will accept data. One is the new weather station that I just got last month and the other is the Uniden Home Patrol scanner that I got last September. Fortunately both items are under warranty and I am now working on finding out how things are going to be handled. E-mails have been sent to both manufactures and now it's just wait and see how nthings will be dealt with. No matter how well things are handled it will still be a pain to get this all dealt with. Especially with me wanting to move later this week.

More folks left this morning heading north and the population of the park is rapidly approaching single digits. If it wasn't for the workman in repairing storm damage there would be absolutely nothing happening around here. The related factor is that the heat is slowly edging upwards which is driving folks indoors so there is even less activity.

Today we are still in weekend mode, which means little or no activity, but at least we have Cardinal baseball  coming up in a few minutes. I guess there is nothing else left to do, but sit back, watch the game and enjoy the good life.

    1. Absolutely, first line of defense is at the campground post where I use a Progressive EMS-PT30C, This is a $200.00 item that has saved me twice. This is followed up inside with an APC surge arrest on the electronics desk, for the computer, printer, monitor and other electronics.
