Thar she blows

The wind that is. An attempt is being made by the wind to remove the decals from Mel's exterior. To cut back on the noise and the hula action of swaying on the suspension, I have pulled in the slides in and generally secured all loose gear. Fortunately we are on the Saturday/weekend mode so no plans will be disrupted. As a matter of fact, no plans have even been made.

Probably a view of the ballgame will be in order this afternoon and after that some advanced idleness might be in order. Weekends allow everyone to enjoy the good life.

  1. The forecast of rain is not bad but the wind that keeps the temperature on the wrong side of the freezing mark has changed our plans for Enjoying the Good Life.

    It's about time.

    1. Not something I would recommend for an amateur, but I am well practiced.

  3. When the wind stats blowing, I put my chairs under the rig and hole up, happy as a clam. I like to think I'm in a boat, with no worries of sinking. :)

    1. That's fine as long as the wind doesn't move you to the next county.

  5. Wind can be a good way to put me to sleep. Like rocking a baby.
    Hope it calms down soon.

  6. It can also be distracting when the canvas toppers are blowing and snapping in the breeze.
