Better day

It's a better day for me, that is. The headache disappeared about mid-afternoon yesterday and I'm feeling fine this morning. Thanks to all of you who offered advice. I did wake up with the sound of a few raindrops on the roof this morning and the temperature has turned dramatically cooler with the wind switching around to the north last night and putting temperatures into the mid 60's. Did I mention wind? Again, wind in the mid 30's all night long. It has diminished some this morning, But you still have to be careful when speaking if you don't want to loose your fillings when you open your mouth into the wind.

Last night I found Jim and Priscilla had returned to the park to finish emptying out their fifth wheel and to get it moved to a storage lot while waiting for it to be sold. They will be in town a couple of days finishing up details of the move before heading back to San Antonio.

Today I have a clear schedule so we have started the day by doing nothing and will probably continue in that mode unless interrupted by something a bit more exciting. It really doesn't matter what I do as long as I enjoy the good life.

  1. I guess the dentists in your area are pretty happy with the wind! :)

  3. Doing nothing is good, especially after having a migraine the day before. They always leave me feeling wiped out. Glad you're feeling better today.

  4. Glad your headache is gone. I get migraines every now and then. It almost trivializes them to call them headaches. It really is severe pain.

Keep your mouth closed in the wind. LOL Saw my little trailer lift completely off the ground on one side, once.

I have friends stranded in Kingman.

    1. Thanks hobopals.

I had a 48' trailer with wheels off the ground in Kansas once, not something you'll ever forget.

Strange weather, thanks for stopping by.

  5. Glad you feel better!
I've never seen a trailer lifted like that, very scary!! My RV was swaying last night with the winds. I thought maybe I'd have to tie it down, but the yard here is gumbo right now. (but don't eat it, not tasty). The weather is weird huh?

  6. Glad your feeling better. Temps here are in the mid 80's and we did have some wind gusts. We are going to have a drop in temp in the next couple of days but still to be above normal

  7. Glad you're feeling better today! Now if you can just stay inside and take it easy, you'll have a great day! Sounds like it's going that way, and that's good.
