Saturday rain.

This morning we again had rain on the roof and a 42 degree temperature to start the day. This didn't look too promising for completing the plan of going to the local car show, but, in spite of the weather, off we went. Roger, Donna, Jim and I piled into Roger's truck and the first stop was Cracker Barrel to stoke the furnace against the cold temperatures. Then it was off to the car show. Attendees and presenters were both in short supply I'm sure due to the cool temperature and sharp wind..  Here are the cars that had arrived while we were there. Pick the one you like.

Even as we were leaving cars were still arriving.

After the car show we headed to Edinburg to The Museum of South Texas History. I took some pictures there and I will post them tomorrow. For the rest of the day it's a couple of basketball games and a little relaxing after a busy day of enjoying the good life.

  1. I'll take the black '57 Chevy - or the blue Corvette!! Also like the old early 50s Chevys. I was a big Chevy fan in my younger days. Is that a '56 in that last picture? Think I saw a Chevelle in there too.

  4. I love all of them can't help myself. That is the last big event in the White Mountains every year and the best thing all summer. I always look forward to snapping away all through town.

    1. I'm afraid, just like Donna K, you have over selected and been disqualified.
