Yesterday ended up being pretty quite around here and I got a pretty good start at doing nothing and so far this morning I'm picking up where I left off and working on finishing what I started. That still seems to be the biggest plus about retirement, the ability to do nothing at your own pace. Of course there are drawbacks to retirement too. The biggest being you never get a day off.
Today we are under a 40% chance of rain warning but right now nothing other than 76% humidity which is enough to make you feel like it's raining. Tomorrow we are planning a road trip to Zapata to do some more tongue wagging and that should make for a fun day. As for today, I'm thinking a cruise through enjoying the good life is in order.
Love doing nothing. Some people do not understand the concept. Always have to doing something.

Michael and Dee doing noting is an acquired skill, lots of practice required.
ReplyDeleteHope your trip tomorrow is a fun one. Get all that tongue waggin done and then the next day you can rest again. Sounds good.
ReplyDeleteGood plan Jo, thanks for dropping by.
ReplyDeleteI want a day of nothing again! Did that a few days ago, it was nice. I watched documentaries on Hulu that day...ahhh, nice quiet day.
