Mouth shut

We are told since an early age to keep our mouths shut lest we make things worse. Like a few simple words can disturb the ying and yang of the world, yeah right. Well yesterday's rant about weather conditions around here ended with the statement, well at least it's been warm. Not so fast pardner. Today we have the overcast, the fog, the mist and a brisk wind has brought the temperature down to the mid 50's. So much for 'at least it's been warm'. This has left no alternative but to curl up in front of the space heater for an extended nap while chastising myself to leave well enough alone.

Yesterday someone sent me this video that reminded me of the Saturday cartoons we used to go to the neighborhood theater to watch with the two feature films. I'm sure some of you remember those days too. I hope this brings a smile to your face.

It looks like today I will be moving from nap to nap with brief periods of consciousness in between waiting for the weather to improve so I can better enjoy the good life.

  3. Thanks for the cartoon that was funny.
The wind has been so bad here today I will have to redo all the decorations or just bring them in and forget about it. And its nippy too. We took quick short walks. Yup good day to stay home and snuggle under the blanket I was making and finished.

  4. Jo, glad you got the blanket done so you have something to snuggle under. I hope tomorrow is a better day for both of us.

  5. Don't blame yourself, after all it's Texas and if you don't like the weather just wait and it will change.

It was a bit nippy this morning in Houston but the sun is out and it looks like it will be a beautiful day.

    Liked the cartoon :)
