I ran out

This morning I was preparing today's no can do laundry excuse when I realized I had run out. No, not of excuses, but of socks and underwear. So, there was nothing left to do, but bite the bullet and  gather laundry up and head for the machines. I was surprised to find myself as the only one there on a Monday morning, but it worked out in my favor, as I was able to put the machines to work and get finished before anyone else showed up. Then it was back to Mel for the folding and hanging which has been completed and we have clothes to wear for a couple of weeks with no excuses needed.

This morning we also woke up to cold temperatures. 31 degrees was the reading on my gauge, but the good news is the wind has blown itself out and the temperature has already climbed to 71 degrees with not a cloud in the sky.

I also spent a bit of time visiting this morning while waiting on the laundry so it's already been a busy day. I'm thinking the pace needs to be slowed the rest of the day while I take time to enjoy the good life.

  2. Glad you got your laundry done and are all set for a while.

I am also washing clothes but my mom does not like dryers so I have to hang them in the clothesline :(

    Have a great day.

  3. See, I told you don't do it until you run out of socks or underwear!!! Excuses you can always come up with.

  6. You sent the wind our way and we don't like it. We especially don't like the cold temps that came with it. MM

  9. I can see the consensus is we buy more socks and underwear to forestall trips to the laundry.
