Less windy

Today the wind has died a bit, down to 20 mph and the temperature has remained cooler. We are at 75 degrees right now. I got out and took a walk this morning and shot several pictures of the flowers in park, but original Mr. Canon decided to act up again and the lens cover didn't fully open. Tomorrow I will re-shoot what didn't come out. I did get some pictures of the road construction in front of the park which has been the major source of lots of dust in the last couple of days.

 They are rebuilding US 281 through town.

 The highway will be elevated through town and service roads will parallel both sides of the highway with on and off ramps every few blocks.

This used to be the crossover into the park, but they've made it pretty difficult to use now.

Today's activity will require me to watch for other arrivals and retake my flower pictures while waiting for game 1 of the World Series. All this will be directed at making sure I'm enjoying the good life.
