Good looking day

With an overnight low of 47 the sleeping was excellent last night. Today we are expecting 88 degrees and the wind has dropped below 10 miles an hour. Looks like a good day ahead. This mornings walk was done in mid 60 degree temperatures. As I walked I sort of snapped what I saw with Mr. Canon and spent a little time around the butterfly garden. No butterflies were spotted but there are lots of pretty flowers. Again my lack of knowledge prevents me from naming the various flowers, but I can categorize them for you.

This is the butterfly garden and the house with the slits is a butterfly house.

This flower will be in the lavender category.

We'll go with the red category for these.

 Orange category here.

 Orange and pink mixed.

Everyone should get white category for these.

 A little closer.

 A whites and pink mixture.

Another area of the park behind the office is set aside for the birds.

Free meals are available and they show up to take advantage.

Of course the hummingbirds have their own feeding area.

 They are entertaining to watch.

This one insisted on playing hide and seek.

This afternoon will be spent collecting energy to deal with the stress of rooting the Cardinals on to victory tonight. Just another effort to enjoy the good life.
