Memorial day

Today we honor those who have given us the freedoms we enjoy in this country. We should all take at least a few minutes out of this holiday to honor their sacrifice. 


Today the weather is good. The current temperature is 80 degrees, but we are under a wind advisory with gusts expected to 50 miles per hour. My plan for the day is to begin preparations for getting under way, although the start eastward may be delayed until the wind dies down a bit.


For now it's off to do my chores and see what develops this afternoon. It's just another fine day to enjoy the good life.
