Last night the wind continued to blow. It blew to the point that I finally pulled in the sides to keep the slide covers from flapping in the wind. The fear of flapping slide covers is that it will eventually hasten their demise, not to mention the noise they create. Pulling in the slides quieted things down enough to allow for some decent sleeping.. The winds didn't die down until early this morning and by then they had pushed the thermometer down to 41 degrees. This morning the temperature has been a bit slower to recover and right now it's 64 degrees.
Today's project will be getting Mel ready to travel in the morning. A trip to Wal-mart is in order if we want to continue to eat. A habit I've grown accustomed to and really have high hopes of continuing. The trip to Wal-mart tomorrow will be part of enjoying the good life.
