Some views of the park

Yesterday was celebrated very quietly here in the peaceful valley.  Surprisingly there were no campers with fireworks or other incendiary devices. Maybe the fact that Oregon has banned them had something to do with that. I did get out and do a bit of walking yesterday and here are some of the sights I saw.

First it was down to the river were a herd of ducks was enjoying a morning swim.

Then I was able to capture a couple of flowers that were kind enough to pose for Mr. Canon. The names escape me (like I ever knew).

These are the pink ones.

These were more white with a touch of yellow.

In a quite little corner of the park there is a meditation garden.

And of course there are always the western sunsets to admire.

Walking around taking in God's work is just another way to enjoy the good life and I plan on doing more of it today.
