Night 1 in Lake Havasu

Night 1 was uneventful if you don't count the toilet failing to function properly again. I have located a mobile RV repairman here in town and he should be here sometime today, so this will be a sit and wait day. I hope London Bridge doesn't fall down before I get there. Other than that it was a routine setup and we are comfortable in our spot.

I have a few more pictures from the prison to share today and then tomorrow it will be on to some Lake Havasu pictures.
Looking back at the cells.
About the prison expansion and later years when it served as a high school. How would you like to play ball for the Yuma 'crims'?
The new cells were whitewashed and nicer than the old.
Another section of cells. Notice how the iron bar was embedded right into the stone at the end of the section.
The prison layout.
A view from the west side of the prison which was built on a hill overlooking California and the Colorado river which is in the lower left of the picture.

Today's activities will be limited while waiting for the repairman to arrive, but I will still find a way to enjoy the good life.
