This morning was go day. After a nice sendoff from the people in the park we hit the road. A stop in Laredo for a few groceries and then it was back on the road. We got all the way to Laredo before the rain started. More of a mist than a downpour, but then the winds picked up. So we fought wind and rain all the way to Eagle Pass. After Eagle Pass the sun came out and we coasted into Del Rio. 230 miles is enough for the first day back on the road. 

Mel preformed flawlessly on his first day back to work and tomorrow we will work harder to get through the area we have covered several times before. That way we can get to the new sights we want to see. Covering old ground to get to new ground is part of enjoying the good life.
