The sun is back

The sun has returned, but apparently only briefly. Friday's forecast in the words of the National Weather service alert will be 'raw'. What this means is not real nice. We will take today to remove some of the topsoil from Mel and to get ready to batten down the hatches for a few days. This morning we were greeted with plenty of fog after yesterdays rain loaded the air with moisture. It has quickly burned off and we are watching the thermometer rise.

Fog fills the air,

Making a surreal scene.

Harley arrived home last night and after the struggle getting from the motorhome to inside the house was accomplished he is resting comfortably. This morning his physical therapist arrived to begin torturing him. No pain, no gain is the word for the day. One thing that was accomplished yesterday that rather amazed me was that at 2:30 Dan and Geno (the two brothers who are the parks resident handymen) got a call that a ramp was going to be needed to get Harley into the house. These two guys had it built by 6:00 pm. Without their help it would have been very difficult to get Harley into the house.
