Fog confuses
This morning I woke up to fog and a light mist. As I started southeast the fog thickened and the mist increased to rain. At time visibility was limited to less than one half mile. The problem is when you can't see where you are, you don't know when to stop so I just kept going. We finally broke out of the weather and stopped in Del Rio, TX. We stopped at Wal-Mart and Mel got an oil change and we are ready to do the last leg of our journey to Zapata tomorrow. Today we traveled through the Texas mountains and Big Bend Country on US-90.....I think. Tomorrow we will continue to enjoy the good life and hopefully we will get to see what we are enjoying.

I heard that the hold up on RT 70 was because of a movie filming. They are supposedly tying up that highway for at least a month.
ReplyDeleteThat seems strange that they would block the only route to Alamogodo from the west. It had better be a good movie.
