This morning we got up to 53 degree temperatures and headed west. At our first stop in Cameron for fuel we decided to go to Marysville Kansas for the night. Leaving Cameron the drizzle began and by the time we reached Marysville it was raining and the temperature had only reached 58. A team meeting was held and we decided we were tired of cold and wet and decided to continue west. The final result of our days activities is that we traveled 366 miles and still have not found the sun. We did find 70 degree temperatures and got out of the rain so the day wasn't a total bust. We will evaluate the weather in the morning to further our quest of finding the sun.
The interesting thing today was we were following the Pony Express trail. Unfortunately it was too wet to venture out and take pictures, so we will save that adventure for another time. We also passed the geographical center of the USA. In all it was a busy day leading the good life.
The Sun IS shining in Farmington, NM... that's further West and a touch South...
