Brookfield Missouri
Good news today.....twice. My appointment with the surgeon was delayed until 10:30 when she became tied up in surgery. When I finally did see her she was at a loss as to what to do and referred me to an ENT who was nice enough to see me at 1 pm. He poked and prodded and came to the conclusion that it was nothing serious and more than likely was a blocked salivary gland. He gave me three options: a) I could have it surgically removed, b) We could do a biopsy with a big long, hollow needle, or c) we could wait and see. Quickly assessing the pain scale of the three options I chose option c. It is nice too know the doctor wasn't too concerned and I am willing to accept his lack of concern as my own. The second piece of good news was when I stopped by my primary doctors to pick up the results of a test he gave me for diabetes. The results are I am not diabetic and am well within range. With that good news I jumped in Mel and headed west. I am now in Brookfield for the night.
