Cardinals clinch

After living and dieing Cardinal baseball all season long the reward came last night when they clinched another division title. Now it's on to post season and more sweating and nail biting will be in order.

Today's forecast is for 90 degree temperatures but the humidity will still be low. I mentioned the rain last week and it has triggered another blooming of some of the plants in the park. This mornings amble produced the pictures below.

These three pictures are all of species of the plant family and go by various names, none of which I know.

I can pin this one down even further, it's part of the cactus family.
