Today everything is blowing in the wind. The wind came up last night from the NNE and is still blowing as only it can around here. Steady winds of 25 mph and gusts to 39 mph. The mountains the were so clear the other day are obscured by a haze of dust that the wind has kicked up from the valley. The discussion at the office this morning was whether it was breezy or gusty. Apparently there are subtle differences that define these two conditions known only to the locales.
Chip, the RV repairman, stopped by yesterday afternoon to let me know he had the parts to fix Mel's plumbing and he would probably be able to get by and take care of it this afternoon.
Right after lunch I plan to head out for the laundry room to engage in my favorite leisure time activity. Carrying a full laundry bag in these windy conditions might make the journey an interesting one and where I'll end up remains to be seen. I guess exploring new places is just part of enjoying the good life.
